The monthly School Board Meeting for March honored an integral part of the Tazewell County Public Schools branch, the transportation staff including drivers, mechanics and others that make up the transportation division.
George Godbey, Supervisor of Transportation took to the podium to speak about the staff that has one of the most challenging jobs in the division.
Godbey also honored his secretary Marcella Keene for always making sure drivers were scheduled for routes, planning the after school athletic transportation and many other facets of her job.
